This spacious, well-equipped, ground-floor apartment is located a short 5-minute walk from the beach front in the quiet, highly-rated, Los Atalayones residential development with its three swimming pools, three toddler pools, tennis court, landscaped gardens, and private parking.
The apartment has a total building area of 70m2 and comprises three good-sized bedrooms, a large sitting/dining area and a separate well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom provides combined bath/shower, wash basin, bidet and WC.
The large patio of 25m2 with its retractable sun canopy provides plenty of room for dining, entertaining and sunbathing.
Being on the ground floor, the apartment has direct access to the well-maintained gardens and swimming areas and provides easy access for our guests with reduced mobility.
The beach area with its wide choice of bars and restaurants is just a short stroll away. Mojacar boasts several kilometres of unspoilt coastline including blue flag beaches within walking distance and small coves which are easily accessible using the local bus service.
Close by on the beach front, you will find a supermarket, open 7 days a week, selling a good range of Spanish and English groceries as well as freshly cooked bread.
In the Mojacar area, you will find a good range of activities including horse riding, scuba diving, crazy golf and several fine golf courses. Nearby places to visit include the many local markets, the busy fishing port of Garrucha, the water park at Vera, Mini Hollywood where many spaghetti westerns were made, and the Cabo de Gata Natural Park.
A mere 3 miles inland, and accessible by the local bus, is Mojacar Pueblo, the famous Moorish hilltop village with its maze of narrow winding cobbled streets awash with interest and colour. The spectacular view from the village square is a must for any visitor.
All in all, the perfect place to spend an enjoyable relaxing holiday.
• Bedrooms – The main bedroom comprises a king-size double bed, wardrobe and 2 bedside cupboards. Bedroom 2 has twin beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom 3 has been furnished with children in mind and comprises twin beds, hanging clothes rail and 2 drawer units. Bedrooms 1 and 2 both have air conditioning and separate access to the patio area.
• Lounge/dining area – The lounge area has a 4-seater sofa, TV providing a range of English and Spanish programmes, DVD player and CD/radio. There is a good selection of DVDs, CDs, games and books. The dining area has an extendible dining table with 6 chairs. The lounge/dining area is fully air-conditioned and there are also ceiling fans in both the lounge and dining areas.
• Kitchen – The fully equipped kitchen offers a large range of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is also a large work surface with serving hatch to the dining area.
• Bathroom – The bathroom comprises a combined bath/shower, wash basin, bidet and WC.
• Patio – There is a retractable sun canopy over the patio table and 6 chairs so meals can be taken al fresco but out of the direct sun, if desired. There are also 2 sun loungers for serious sunbathing.
