MOUNTAIN VILLA CLOSE TO BEACHES:
3 BEDROOM - PRIVATE POOL
AIR CONDITIONING AND HEATING
This beautiful unique villa sits majestically in the mountains of the Sierra mountain range with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
Torre Cascada is built in the Moorish style unique to this area. With all modern comforts and amenities its appearance is that of a grand medieval Moorish villa with tower.
Large, intricately carved arched windows allow access to three separate terraces all of which have magnificent uninterrupted views of the surrounding Sierra Cabrera Mountains and valley’s.
The imposing double gates bounded on one side by a natural rock outcrop lead to the large split-level front terrace. Half of this is covered with a cane screen to afford shelter from the sun whilst eating alfresco or taking a drink whilst admiring the view into the valley. This terrace also overlooks the large shaped private pool with powerful Whirlpool and affords access to the main lounge/dinning area and entrance door. Steps lead down to the pool along side the natural rocks.
The main front olive wood door leads to an entrance area, off of which are two bedrooms and a bathroom. All floors are pink or white marble.
The furniture is in traditional Spanish style. The house has been left deliberately uncluttered to reveal the unique architectural splendour.
Bedroom One has two single beds and a built in wardrobe. Large shuttered doors in this bedroom lead directly back onto the front terrace. Bedroom two has a double bed and built in wardrobe. Shuttered windows open to an uninterrupted view of the adjacent mountain olive groves and goatherds.
The bathroom is in blue mosaic tiles with bath/shower, toilet and washbasin.
Leading from the entrance area through an archway down marble steps is the main lounge/dinning area. This well lit room has three double sliding window doors each surrounded by carved archways supported on turned columns. One window leads to the front terrace. A second gives access to the adjacent front balcony. The third leads to the equally large rear terrace, which is also covered with, cane sun shading.
The lounge area has a feature fireplace with a log effect fire provided for the few winter evenings when it is needed.
For entertainment, DVD, Blueray player, CD iPhone dock, memory stick, Bluetooth player and Cable & Satellite TV with a selection of UK channels are provided.
The dinning table is glass topped with modern chairs. The comfortable curved settee seats 5. There are ample cushions.
For eating outside there are 2 large metal table with 8 chairs plus two round metal garden tables.
A further archway leads to the well equipped kitchen with cooker/extractor, washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and all normal kitchen utensils The view for those volunteering to work at the sink is superb!
Also leading off of the entrance area is the spiral staircase, which leads upstairs to the master bedroom in the Tower, and downstairs to the pool and poolroom.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed and large en-suite bathroom. The magnificent domed ceiling with its concealed lighting enhances the room. The main double door window lead out via the ornate carved arched to an extremely large private terrace with 360 views of the area.
PLEASE NOTE This room is normally only available for high season lets but may be available on request.
The next to the pool room has a fridge and sofa, which is ideal for a refreshing drink away from the hot sun when, required.
This poolroom could also be used as a 4th bedroom by using the sofa beds provided.
It has a large en-suite shower room.
It can accomodate 1 double and 2 single beds.
A paved area with a backdrop of natural rocks surrounds the pool, which can be reached from either the spiral staircase or terrace steps. The pool and Whirlpool can be illuminated for night-time dips. There are ample sunloungers and sun shades around the pool area.
All rooms in the villa benefit for air-conditioning. For those that prefer fans rather that cooled air there is a ceiling fan in the lounge and fan can be used in all bedrooms.
Local amenities consist of: - Moorish Castle, tennis courts, restaurants, fantastic mountain walks, caves, lawn bowls, ten minutes drive to Mojacar beach, which has beaches with water sports, horse riding, golf courses and entertainment’s and also wilder untouched virgin beaches.
A car is a necessity.
NEW FOR 2013 IMPRESSIVE PRIVATE POOL COMPLEX
As well as your own Private pool and WHirlpool, guests now have the advantage of additional access to the super New Private members only Pool complex nearby.
This has an impressive large main pool with invigorating overhead jet sprays plus a smaller childrens whirlpool with an overhead fountain to spray over them and excite them. This will give families the opportunity for their children (and adults) to meet and mix with other guests in the vicinity.
As it is a Private Club entry is restricted to authorised persons only so it will not be crowded and it will offer a holiday atmosphere away from the villa without having to travel the short journey to the beach.
Torre de la Cascada is the best villa we have stayed at,
the pictures dont do it justice and the views are amazing.
It was a peaceful and calm place to stay where a lot of thought had clearly been given to making our holiday special. The pool and whirlpool were great and the beaches sandy and clean.

I could wax lyrical about this property for a long time and still not do it justice. I have spent 3 consecutive summers at Torre de Cascada with my family and have already booked again for 2012. The setting is stunning, nestled in mountain community of Sierra Cabrera, the views are breathtaking as your eyes are drawn to the valley below but also the other mountains beyond the valley that seem to stretch for miles. Outside there is a pool and a separate whirlpool/tub/pool which are both perfectly formed and our children, a 10 year old boy and twin 8 year old boys, are always adamant that going in these pools are the highlight of their holiday - they absolutely love them. The house is lovely inside, well laid out, everything works as it should, and the Sky TV facility ensures that Match of the Day and Eastenders aren't missed. However, it's the views that really make this property the gem that it is, not to mention the fact that you are not overlooked and for 99% of the time you could hear a pin drop - it is so peaceful and quiet. Sierra Cabrera as a location is fantastic and its most popular local restaurant, Los Pastores, is sensational - good food in an incredible setting. If you ever spend time at Torre de Cascada I guarantee that you will fall in love with the place as we have - it is truly everything you could wish for and more.
