If you are looking for an exciting, authentic Spanish location, this very spacious and stylish apartment is definitely for you!It benefits from a large terrace with fantastic views, and from its location in a medieval, white washed old the ever-changing Mediterranian light infusing the apartment through French windows in both reception rooms you will enjoy a great sense of space and contrast throughout the day and night. The apartment is 5 minutes by car to the beach. It sleeps 6 comfortably and is equipped to the highhest standard with everything you will need for a comfortable, relaxing holiday. There is also a cot for a baby or small child. It has recently been equipped with airconditioning which also serves as heating in the (rare) winter moments when you might need it.
The apartment is on the top (third) floor of a small block which is occupied by Spanish owners only. (THERE IS NO LIFT.) Salobrena, often described as the jewel of the Costa Tropical, has an excellent beach, lined with palm trees and several restaurants and evening markets in the summer and a Moorish castle perched on top of the old town. The sea is usually warm enough for swimming from the beginning of May till early November. There is a new municipal swimming pool at a few minutes of walking distance. Salobrena is just over an hour by car from Malaga and 50 minutes from Granada.
There are infinite opportunities for excursions both by car and by bus: Granada (the Alhambra), Cordoba, Malaga (Picasso Museum), Almunecar (Water Park), many different beaches and resorts (Nerja, La Herradura, etc.), In the nearby Alpujarras there are walks of all levels of difficulty and other outdoor pursuits such as horse riding and mountain-biking.
In the summer all the usual water sports (diving, beach volleyball, deep-sea angling, scuba diving) are available locally. In the winter the climate is sub-tropical, but in the Sierra Nevada, which is appr. one hours drive from Salobrena, you will find a ski resort where all winter sports are available.
There is an excellent sports centre in Salobrena, offering tennis, badminton, football, etc.
The property is very accessible without a car, as there are regular bus services between Salobrena and all the important towns and sights. In high season there is a local bus service between the town centre and the nearby beaches also. The bus stop is 5 minutes walk from the building. Car hire is available at very reasonable rates at all major airports (please ask for details of low cost providers.) On-street parking is available. We can also arrange taxi transfer from local airports.
The local supermarkets are very well equipped, close-by on foot but also deliver free of charge. The town market is 4 minutes walk away and sells superb fish and vegetables.
ALTHOUGH THE APARTMENT IS IDEAL FOR LARGER GROUPS OR FAMILIES, WE ARE SOMETIMES ABLE TO OFFER REDUCTIONS FOR COUPLES OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE STAYINGN IN THE PROPERTY WILL HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE PRICE. THE WEEKLY RATE ON THE WEBSITE IS FOR 2-4 PEOPLE. WE SHALL BE PLEASED TO QUOTE PRICES FOR LARGER GROUPS. MAXIMUM NUMBER STAYING IN THE PROPERTY IS 6.

Sitting room: sofa and easy chairs, TV (SATELLITE TV, CHANNELS IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES, ENGLISH NEWS CHANNELS AND SPANISH CHANNELS).
